在電信業者開通您的號碼/攜碼之前，消費者是可以臨時取消合約的。

門市的店員通常會告知簽完約就不能取消了(例如遠傳)，他們很多時候是真的不知道可以取消

If you want to withdraw a mobile contract before local carrier activates your number/ NP, it is fine.

Some sales/ service agents may tell you they can't do this. Don't blame them because most of them don't know how to do this.

告訴店員或店長，NCC規定在電信業者開通前，合約是尚未生效的(如果有綁手機問題就比較複雜)。

請他們打電話給客服，讓客服中心處理停止開通作業，合約就不成立。

Tell them "NCC" allows customer to cancel mobile contract until the number/ NP  really works under the specific carrier.

Ask them call their customer center/ line and demonstrate what you would like to do, cancelling contract.

Then wait for the approval.  (Assume the contract is not a package combined with cell phone)

別忘了，在決定電信業者之前，可以申請七天的免費SIM卡來測試家裡或常用之處的收訊。  

Last but not the least, don't forget you can have a 7-days free trial sim card once a year for checking signal in your location.

However, this sim card can only go to the webs but not making/ recieving calls.
